Our Story

Where it began Quiben Ventures Limited was founded in 2013 by a team of young passionate innovators determined to drive meaningful change across East Africa. The idea was born out of a shared vision to bridge gaps in Research and development and optimize resources for impactful change in critical sectors. We recognized the demand for expert, evidence-driven solutions, and our consultancy firm was built with the commitment to providing such solutions—solutions that would create lasting progress in sectors like economic empowerment, disability inclusion, Governance, Financial management, Resource Mobilization, Human resource management, GEDSI integration, and more.

The name behind the firm On a flight back from South Sudan, one of our founders met a man named Quiben - who challenged him to stop seeing African development challenges as problems and start seeing them as concepts waiting to be built. That dream gave us our name, our mandate, and a way of thinking we have never abandoned.

Growth

Our growth journey has been marked by a commitment to integrity, innovation, and excellence. Over the years, we’ve worked alongside both local and international partners, using data-driven methodologies and a collaborative approach to design and implement sustainable interventions. We firmly believe in the importance of local engagement, ensuring that every program is not only contextually relevant but also empowering for the communities we serve

Who We Are

We work alongside governments, NGOs, donor-funded programmes, private institutions, and development agencies to build stronger systems, improve operational performance, and generate measurable development outcomes.

Our methodology brings together rigorous technical expertise, evidence-based analytical frameworks, and a deep contextual understanding of the environments in which our clients operate.
